School Clubs

Extra-Curricular Activities

ClubSportsSportss vary according to the time of year, as well as from year to year. They can be organised by staff, parents or visiting teachers. Some activities are free, there are charges for others.

School is only responsible for after-school clubs run by school staff, for example sports, nature club, gardening, maths and newsletter clubs. Clubs that are run by external providers (such as French club and Mark Cromack sports) are the responsibility of the provider, school is only providing the premises so that the particular activity is available to pupils if parents wish. Any questions or concerns about these clubs should therefore be addressed to the provider not school.

Our older children have the opportunity to visit  outdoor education centres  for a residential visit.

We are also able to offer lessons in a range of musical instruments such as violins, woodwind, brass and keyboard. If your child would like to learn a musical instrument please contact the school office for more information. Instruments can be hired from the Local Authority and please note there is a termly fee for these lessons. Discounts and remissions apply to families in receipt of benefits. Children are taught individually or in groups, by teachers from the Local Authority Instrumental Music Service.
