Admissions Information

The natural catchment area of the school takes in the villages of Ainderby Steeple, Morton-on-Swale, Scruton, Thrintoft and Warlaby. Children who reach the age of five years between the first day of September and the last day of March inclusive, are normally admitted in September, the start of the autumn term. Parents of those children who reach the age of five between the first day of April and the last day of August inclusive, may choose whether their child attends full time from September or part time from September and then full time from the following January.

We are always pleased to show new parents around the school - please telephone to arrange a mutually convenient time.

If you decide you would like your child to attend our school, you will need to follow the link at the bottom of the page

When you have been allocated a place for your child at Ainderby Steeple C of E School, by the LA, we arrange a series of 'familiarisation visits' for Reception children. These visits will normally take place during the half term prior to the expected starting date.
