Links With Others

The Dales Academies Trust 

In January 2019, we became an Academy part of the Dales Academies Trust. Click here to find out more information about the Trust. We work closely with the other schools for the benefit of all our children. 

The Dales School

We share a site with the Dales Special School and, with the support of the Local Authority, are in the privileged position of being able to integrate our children for a variety of events. In the past, a number of pupils from the Dales School have taken part in lessons with our children, with the support of Teaching Assistants. These lessons have been art, craft and physical education. Some of our older children do playtime activities with their children. We are always looking at developing our links and opportunities for our children to work and play together. (Due to COVID, we have sadly had to limit our interaction, for the safety of all our children and staff).

Swaledale Alliance
