Information for providing remote learning can be found here

Please find attached a copy of the Remote Learning Policy which was written in November 2020. Click here

Staff will be setting maths, literacy and another subject each day. The DfE guidance is that KS1 children should be doing 3 hours of learning each day and KS2 up to 4 hours. Please don’t expect your children to sit for the full time in one block, they would struggle to do this at school and even more so in the home environment. We are also very aware that many parents are now working from home and trying to juggle both work and home schooling which can be tricky, so please do as much as you can, when you can. Do please contact the class teacher if your child is struggling.

Staff will put the overview for the week with all links on the school website with the exception of class 1 (Reception and Yer 1) who have it emailed to them through Tapestry. There will sometimes be a link to teaching on line using Oak National academy/Bite size/White Rose etc. with an activity to complete after.  Reception and year 1 will be more practical activities.

We will provide hard copies of sheets for those who earlier in the year identified themselves as not having a printer. If your circumstances have changed and you now require hard copies, please just let the class teacher know. These must be collected from school and will be in a named pack.

IMPORTANT - we do ask that as they are completed they are either photographed and emailed back to school, completed in a document and emailed to school or a hard copy returned completed when you collect the next pack. Staff can then respond to work completed and have an overview of how children are doing. It is therefore vital that your child completes the work set and staff will contact you if we have concerns about work not being completed. Children must be continuing their learning at home and return it to school where we will add it to their work books, since we are unsure when all children will be able to return.

Please do email staff if you need to contact them on their class email addresses:
